Mum's Day + Wesak Day

I should have posted this post quite long already..Pictures all uploaded a few days ago but haven't type in anything..No mood for blogging after the previous post..

Anyway, for Mum's Day, Ah Jie got a Mother's Day card and I got a bouquet of flowers for our beloved Ah Mi..It was quite rushing lo..I finished my last paper on the 8th and got home the same day..Mum's Day was on the 10th but we celebrated on the 9th since Ah Jie came back from Sg. and she needed to go back on Sunday..Then I just decided to go Sg. on the 10th..Flowers that I've ordered and helped Yuzi to order also were supposed to arrive at our respective houses on the 10th..Since I'll be going Sg. on the 10th at 7.30am and I couldn't see Ah Mi's happy face ( I assume la..haha.. :) Which really she was with all smiles lo.. ), I decided to ask Uncle Patrick ( Ah Pa's friend who owns a flower shop ) to send the flowers on the 9th before we go out for Mum's Day celebration at Enliven Restaurant..

This is the 2nd year that I've missed out the Wesak Day procession due to my finals..This year I managed to come back ( compared to last year which I was stuck in UKM still.. ) but I didn't managed to join either..I was too worn out for not having enough sleep the day before and with all the shifting from UKM to Malacca, I couldn't even wake up from my bed..To tell the truth, ever since I entered UKM, I rarely step into Seck Kia Eenh temple anymore..Compared to last time where I went every week for Sunday service, taught the children Dhamma Class and sometimes used the library to study..So ya, I often went there..A week a few times because it's quite near my house..But now I only went there once a year, for Wesak Day! And seriously I feel so weird..A place where I feel so familiar and close suddenly it's so foreign already.. =.= I could hardly find the time to go there..Coming back for just 2-3 days makes me wanna stay at home all the time minus outing with friends..It's just a reason that I could find.. :@

P/S : Ah Pa, SORRY that I didn't go back on time to support you physically and morally..I felt so, so ( X uncountable times) not filial as a daughter..I knew that assignments with due date that's so soon and a field work could not replace the importance of you and yet I chose the other wise..And when you said 'It's Ok, I'll be alright' that makes me feel so guilty and terrible deep inside..It's your very first time under the knife and yet I'm not able to be there with you, hold your hands and said 'Ah Pa, you'll be alright'..I'M SO SORRY, AH PA! Deep inside my heart, I'll pray all the time for your smooth operation and speed recovery..I'm so gonna go back and be there with you till you're well enough..To hell with lectures and tutorials..I'm so regret now that I've chosen my studies over you..I'm going home very soon..Please forgive me.. :'(

CNY Part 2

FAMILY GATHERING AT MY HOUSE

Every year, Ah Mi's siblings would come to our house for CNY family gathering. We don't really have open house but because it's a very special family affair, it's like a very huge family gathering and we're very delighted to be the host every year. Ah Mi has 5 siblings..

1) Tai Wu+ Tai Kau Mo=Ah Wai Chia Chia (+ Husband = Joey + Boy )+ Ah Mun Kor Kor (+ Wife)

2)Ah Meng Ah Wu + Kau Mo= (Ah Loong, Ah Theng, Ah Yoong, Ching2)

3)Tuck Hung Kau Fu + Kau Mo = (Ah Yan, Ah Sia, Ah Hon )

4)Kau Fu Chai ( + Kau Mo = Jian Xin + Jian Xen )

5)Mimi + Ah Cheong= (Ah Tung Kor Kor + Wife = Yau2, Ah Yee)+ (Ah Leong Kor Kor + Wife = Lek2,Girl), Ah Kit Kor Kor, (Ah Kuen Chia Chia + Husband=Boy)

So,you can imagine how packed is my house every year!! But it's fun..the more the merrier..As some of them I will only see them once a year or maybe more if there's gatherings etc..This CNY is a time for some family bonding.. :)

Homesick..

After screening through my this semester's pack schedule, I'm so, so relieved that this weekend I'll be free and I'm totally gonna head for home..Haven't been back since after CNY..Miss home so much and especially Ah Pa, Ah Mi and Ah Chia Chu Pao..Yippeeeee...Feel like singing the song 'balik kampung, wooo ooohhh ohhh balik kampung'..lol..After finished 3 papers-Ekonomi Malaysia last week, Ekonomi Pencukaian last 2 days. and Pentadbiran Pendidikan paper yesterday, felt like I was in total mess..I didn't really study for these papers..Partly cause I'm so super lazy and partly cause those theories can't even enter my head after days of seeing them.. * Sigh..And to make things worst, these 3 papers all were like not exams at all..It's much more like a open notes exam..With no tight supervision, all the devils also came out already..Hey, everyone discuss and took a peak on the notes, I don't wanna miss out too..It's foolish to be honest and end up getiing less marks for a purposely loose supervision exam..And all these made me more lazy-have made my mind think that my next 2 papers on 3rd and 4th March are hopefully like this..But I think not!! So, gonna really work hard..Anyway, since next week I have no papers, and this weekend I'm going home, I'm totally gonna enjoy this weekend with my beloved family..

Happy NIU Year..

I'm still very much in CNY mood especially after spending one week at home sweet home eating and enjoying to receive angpau..lol..This very year, we, who studies in local university got to spend more time (1 week) compared to last year which only 4 days..My fellow friends who study in S'pore got lesser time than ever with only 2 days off..Pity them..Anyway, I really enjoyed this year's CNY..

When I got home from UKM, I saw a lot of new stuff..

All the new-new stuff at home..

I helped sticking red stickers to the fruits for praying purpose..

Helping out in the kitchen to cook for the reunion dinner..I think the more I help the more slow it goes..So, Ah Mi and Ah Chia did an awesome job in cooking..Me just 'curi' eat lo..lol

1st Day..

Stayed at home the whole day..So just wore a sleeping t-shirt and short pants..

2nd Day..

Went my best friend, You Tze's house..

Met with a car accident-My poor baby was cracked in front but thanks to the kangaroo bar, it did saved her from being into the surgery room..Aih..It's my fault actually..Didn't press the brake in time..So sorry.. ( SL told me that she met with an accident too but different case and it's on CNY eve..Such an coincidence that we both made our poor babies in bruises..See the power of Amin twins..lol )

3rd Day..

Went visting around Malacca with MHS friends..

Miss the good old days..

4th Day..

Went Muar with family to Ku Ma and an old friend of Ah Pa's houses..Kinda bored as only the adult did the talking and Ah Chia and I were the listeners..

However, finally after 2/3 years, i stepped into this hometown of Ah Pa eating the infamous and delicious otak-otak and 'char sau fan'..

5th Day

Went MP jalan-jalan and went night sight seeing..

6th Day..

Relatives from Ah Mi's side came..House were packed with people..And it's super merry..
